Breakouts Tutorial
If you follow the requirements below you will likely receive full points on each Breakout.
1. Always write the complete title of the Breakout, not just the number.
2. Never write the questions.
3. Write the letter(s): If there is a letter in front of the question, be sure to include it before answering the question or questions.
4. Answer all questions or writing prompts : Make sure you have responded to every question/prompt.
5. Use Complete Sentences: Your sentences should be complete, meaning that they should restate what the question was asking and then provide an answer. For example, if the questions asked "What were the working conditions like for factory workers in the Industrial Revolution?”, then a good response could start with something like "The factory workers in the Industrial Revolution had to deal with many difficult working conditions such as… "
6. NO pronouns: Do not start off your answer with "Because" or with a pronoun like this, they, he, she, it, etc. Breakout answers should always have the noun or name first and then it's OK to use pronouns after that.
7. Highlight each Breakout title before turning them in.
